Use services lawfully and responsibly. This policy protects customers, the network and people affected by hosted activity, and forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This policy applies to services supplied by UAPEER HOSTING SOLUTIONS LIMITED, company 11259161, and to your users, applications and resellers. You are responsible for activity you authorise and promptly addressing compromise or misuse.
2. Prohibited activity
- Illegal content or activity, including child sexual abuse material, exploitation, unlawful threats, fraud, prohibited trade and infringement of intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Malware distribution, phishing, credential theft, botnets or infrastructure intended to facilitate unauthorised access.
- Unauthorised intrusion, scanning or interception. Testing needs appropriate permission and an agreed scope.
- Denial-of-service attacks, deliberate disruption, evasion of security controls or concealment of ongoing abuse.
- Unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive sender identities, harvested address lists or open relays that enable abuse.
3. Resources and network
Stay within plan limits, software licences and the agreed configuration. Do not interfere with other customers, network stability or IP reputation. A traffic allowance does not authorise attacks or excessive shared-resource use. Discuss sustained workloads needing a different plan with support. Unusual scanning, proxy, network or mail requirements need review before deployment.
4. Keep services secure
Maintain software within your management responsibilities, restrict privileged access, use strong authentication and keep independent backups. Investigate notifications promptly. After a compromise, cooperate on containment and remediation before unrestricted operation resumes.
5. Reports and action
Report abuse with the domain or IP address, exact URLs, timestamps and time zone, evidence and contact details. Rights holders should explain the work or right involved and their authority. Do not send illegal material itself; provide a safe location reference.
We assess reports and may seek clarification, notify the customer, restrict affected activity or suspend service. Serious harm, security incidents or legal duties can require immediate action. Where practicable we explain why, limit action to what is necessary and allow remediation. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination under the Terms of Service. A report alone does not establish a violation.
6. Review
If you believe an action was mistaken, request review through the client area or email with the service identifier and evidence. We consider your explanation and communicate the outcome, subject to legal restrictions. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
